In 2018, I started this business solo after becoming frustrated with how the tech world was making itself inaccessible in both price and complexity to everyday entrepreneurs—freelancers, realtors, event planners, health professionals, and more.
I wanted to create an entity that was a reflection of myself—reliable and calm. After some internal dialogue and a failed attempt at starting a paper envelope company (lol!), I settled on the name Lavender Turtle®.
Lavender represents calm and trust. Turtle represents wisdom, patience, and longevity.

Meet Tasha, the OT (original turtle) and visionary behind Lavender Turtle™️, a very tranquil digital web agency since 2018.
She holds one of those fancy grad degrees in Computer Information Systems and 24+ years of experience in higher education.
She is a Certified Digital Business Consultant and an alumni + former Career Counselor and Teaching Assistant at Skillcrush.
When she is not solving tedious coding mysteries, you can find her playing Dungeons & Dragons, cracking jokes with her husband, being a boy mom to her human teenage son and 4-year old furbaby (King Romeo), or reading super scary books from her Central Texas home nicknamed “The Barn.”
NICHELE

Nichele is the Business Operations Manager. She is equal parts tree-lover, nerd, and artist. She splits her time between project management, choreographing, and teaching dance.
Currently based in Salt Lake City, she loves to get outside to enjoy the great outdoors of the Uinta and Wasatch mountains.
Nichele has had many odd jobs. Some of her favorites have included threading movie reels into projectors, shipping bacon (Nichele is a vegetarian), giving chocolate tastings, and working in a winery.
In her spare time, she can also be found crafting and gardening. In other words, she knows a thing or two when it comes to just about everything and will be able to provide an artistic eye to any project you bring our way.

Lindsay is a Web Developer at Lavender Turtle. A self-professed sweet tea addict who was born and raised in the Palmetto State (South Carolina) where she studied biology, sociology, psychology, and theology…oh my!
As a former Disney cast member, she learned how to transform the client experience into something quite magical.
Now she spends her time un-hacking sites and making the web a better place one update at a time. When she is not working on websites you will find her on the beach with a good book soaking up the sun.

Amidst her academic journey, she encountered some truly fantastic teachers who ignited a passion within her to be a force for good in her community. Now, fueled by an unstoppable zest, Rafia is on a mission to sprinkle kindness wherever she goes.
This flower enthusiast loves flowers so much that most of her purchases have some sort of floral element to them. It’s like she’s on a covert mission to turn the world into a garden of joy!
Rafia’s life is currently a whirlwind of activity. Fear not, though, because this detective aficionado is still on the case! Instead of diving into novels, she’s solving digital puzzles with the finesse of a seasoned sleuth.

Susan Goodwin is a web developer at Lavender Turtle, winner of the 1993 blanket fort building championship, and founding member of The Society of Unstuckness, where she seeks to help creatives get unstuck and navigate the online world so they can do the things they’re meant to do.
She studied photography and worked as a freelance photographer for many years. Currently, she is developing her skills as a web developer and designer.
When she’s not hard at work doing computery things, she can be found dreaming up crazy photoshoot ideas, watching movies while simultaneously looking up every actor’s profile on IMDB, reading fantasy novels, or wandering off into the wilderness in hiking boots and a comically floppy sun hat in search of adventure.
